Notting Hill – Bored pile Retaining wall to allow a new basement construction

Piling Solutions Ltd. were employed as a sub contractor by Heery International Limited to construct a bored pile retaining wall. The piled wall was constructed as temporary works to allow the safe excavation and construction of a new basement as part of a residential development. 

The new development is within an existing Mews that is accessed by a narrow covered entrance. In total 75 piles of 450 diameter and 11m depth were constructed. Reinforcement of up 8T20 bars being placed the full depth of the piles.
