The Puntel PX3 from Piling Equipment Specialists is a specialist mini-piling rig that has been developed especially for today’s limited access, low headroom piling market. Although compact in size it boasts a large range of features.

The Puntel PX3 Piling Rig consists of a 15.0 tonne rotary drill mounted on steel fixed crawler tracks, together with four stabilising legs for extra support. The Puntel PX3 has a very versatile, accessible mast enabling the drill to achieve angles way in excess of most other piling rig capabilities. Due to the machines extraordinary low centre of gravity, you can drill at an angle required on your site with complete safety. Along with a turbo diesel FL6 Motor and the powerful four speed motors, the Puntel PX3 can install a temporary cased pile of up to 505mm in diameter, along with 450mm diameter augers driving through the casings. Additionally, fitting a simple bolt on air swivel, enables you to drill up to 300mm in diameter, to your required depth. In conjunction with the impressive 8.0 tonne auxiliary winch and the drive motors side shift capabilities, installation of reinforcement in piles is made easier for the operator and crew. Due to the size and nature of the Puntel PX3, it is ideal for soil-nailing and over-burden drilling requirements.
