The Klemm from Piling Equipment Specialists is a specialist mini-piling rig that has been developed especially for today’s limited access, low headroom piling market. Although compact in size it boasts a large range of features and is actually more powerful than many traditional piling rigs twice its size.

Klemm MR701 comprises of a 3.5 tonne piling rig, mounted on steel crawler tracks. The Klemm incorporates a fly-by wire control system which allows the operator to manoeuvre the rig into extremely restricted access locations. Other features of the Klemm MR701 include out riggers and side tilt mast, which enables the operator to easily set up the machine on the piling platform. The Klemm MR701 has a adjustable mast angle from -5 degrees to +90 degrees which gives the added advantage of enabling the machine to carry out any drilling to the horizontal. The added feature of a 300mm diameter spotting ram moves the piling mast into tight corners. Together with the powerful HDK800 ZS-3 Motors, the Klemm MR701 is a precision controlled piling rig. The Klemm also has an extendable second mast, where up to 2.0 metres of augers/drill rods can be used together with the powerful hydraulic clamps. A 344mm diameter temporary liners are inserted with ease. Changing over the bolt on to the drive sub, enables the machine to use a Rotary Percussive Hammer up to 300mm in diameter. The Klemm MR701 is also capable of Hollow Stem, Pressure Grout Injection Piles, upto and including 300mm diameter through the gear box.

The Klemm MR701 comes complete with a towable super silenced 110kW power pack, that can be detached and used up to 40.0 metres away from the piling platform. This is particularly useful when working within restricted sites.
