The CR14 from Piling Equipment Specialists is a specialist mini-piling rig that has been developed especially for today’s limited access, low headroom piling market. Although compact in size it boasts a large range of features and is actually more powerful than many traditional piling rigs twice its size.

The CR14 is a unique, purpose built high powered Drilling Rig, that weighs only 8.25 tonnes. This small, but robust rig is mounted on steel crawler tracks and is designed to tackle “un-augerable” ground. The main feature of the CR14 is its shear power, consisting of a 3000N/m torque gear box, together with an impressive 10.5 tonne tear-out force. All of this power is made available by an on board 178 horse power engine. The CR14 is capable of working within a restricted headroom of 3.9 metres and is more than capable of installing upto 600mm diameter CFA Augers to depths in excess of 25.0 metres. By using a standard 100mm diameter through bore concrete swivel, installing concrete injected piles is made simple. Together with a powerful 3.0 tonne auxiliary winch, the CR14 makes light work of lifting auxiliary accessories around your site. The CR14 comes with extremely powerful hydraulic clamps, enabling it to install 505mm diameter temporary liners with ease. The CR14 comes with a swing-out control console to give the operator the best possible visual contact with the pile during the installation process
